n February 2009, Forbes Magazine published the list of Polish companies which have increased their value at the quickest pace – Forbes Diamonds.

That prestigious ranking included the companies of the ALLCON Group, which had very high positions among medium-sized companies. The Companies ALLCON S.A. and ALLCON OSIEDLA were, respectively, the 7th and the 11th in the Pomorskie Province.

The ‘Forbes Diamonds’ ranking is created in cooperation with the provider of business information Dun & Bradstreet. The current list has encompassed the companies which were the most dynamic in increasing their value in the years 2005-2007.

The list was prepared by the means of the Swiss method of company valuation, i.e. taking into account both the company’s financial results and the value of assets. Consequently, it is possible to measure the company’s potential while taking into consideration the size of the investment projects in progress and the capacity to increase sales and profits.

We are grateful for this award and congratulate all other companies mentioned in the ranking.

In November 2008, the daily ‘Rzeczpospolita’ published a ranking titled “Polish Enterprises – List 2000". The authors have described the list as a picture of Polish economic reality. The ranking contains financial results and address details of 2000 largest Polish enterprises.

Owing to excellent results for 2007, ALLCON S.A. was included in the prestigious group and was ranked at position 1273. It is worth indicating that this has been a substantial rise since the last year’s ranking which listed ALLCON S.A. at position 1480.

In the ranking titled “Employment Efficiency in Construction Industry", ALLCON S.A. was among the leaders with its 17th position.

The achieved results presented in the ‘List 2000’ prove the increasingly strong position of ALLCON S.A. among Polish enterprises.

In June 2008 ‘Dziennik Bałtycki’ published another ranking TOP 100. This list of the most thriving enterprises constitutes a prestigious indicator of current economic situation in the Pomerania Region.

The Allcon Group achieved excellent results and in many categories was ranked among the leading companies of our region. This confirms both the strong position and continuous development of the companies of the Group.

In May 2008, the second edition of the Quality International Forum – a competition organised by the editorial team of ‘Forum Biznesu’, i.e. a supplement to the daily ‘Gazeta Prawna’ - was adjudicated.

The Company Allcon S.A. was awarded with a silver emblem in the category QI ORDER – the highest quality management system.

The competition was organised under the patronage of the Ministry of Regional Development, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and Polish Forum ISO 9000 Club.

The analysis which preceded the selection of winners was based on the official data and opinions of business and economic organisations, certifying institutions and appointed experts. The organisers intended to reward the organisations which pursue clear quality policy and show achievements of the highest, global level.

On 17th May 2008, there were held the finals of the eighth edition of the competition Young Project Management Program organised by the Project Management Scientific Association of Gdansk University of Technology.

Allcon S.A. among the enterprises which provided young prospective managers with an opportunity of traineeship. The principle of the undertaking was run an all-Poland process to recruit the most talented students who show a special predisposition to this profession.

The competition was held under the patronage of: the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodship, the Mayors
of Gdynia, Gdansk and Sopot, the Rector of Gdansk University of Technology, the Dean of the Faculty
of Management and Economics of Gdansk University of Technology, the Rector of University of Gdansk,
the Rector of Maritime Academy, the Rector of Poznan School of Logistics, and the President of the Pomeranian Chamber of Craft of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The finalists may benefit from paid traineeship at the position of a Project Manager’s Assistant, which may become the beginning of a brilliant professional career at one of reputable companies.
