Impressive building of Vectra in Gdynia at Zwycięstwa Ave., on orłowska hill, last week won the XVI edition of the prestigious Polish-wide competition " The construction of the year". It is next award granted to this building. In February the building was recognized as the best investment in Gdynia winning the “Gdynia’s time" award and defeating seven others nominated objects. Impressive steel-glass Vectra building was built last year by the Allcon S.A. company. The competition “The construction of the year" is a prestigious, Polish-wide event, organized every year by Polish Society of Engineers and Construction Technicians from Warsaw. Its aim is to emerge constructions that are distinguished by its execution. Thanks to its prestige, the competition has earned a name of “ Oscar Prize of Construction Industry". Coast’s companies belong for years to leading companies. Because reward in the business is value - to this year edition companies from the Coast proposed the most successful realizations. Once again among others Allcon company form Gdynia has reached for the laurel for the realization of VECTRA Office Building and received the I place and the honorable title “The construction of the year 2005" in the category of office buildings. It is worth to add that Allcon company also received the II prize in the category of commercial buildings for the ALFA Shopping and Service Center in Olsztyn. It is worth reminding that it is not the first award of Allcon: few years ago the title of construction of the year in the category of housing industry received WITAWA, the trade jury awarded and rewarded a lot of objects which were realized by sister companies acting under the shared Allcon logo – among others: " The Crooked House" and Hotel Opera. / Dziennik Bałtycki, 04.07.2006

This year TOP 100 ranking much differs from previous. There were classified in it both "mothers" companies and capital groups built around them. It permits to show what participation in elaborated results have the leading companies. It turns out that in some cases revenues of the main company are determining less than half of revenues of the entire group.
This year, also for the first time the ranking arose basing on the sales revenue rather than from the entirety of activity. The sales results reflects real revenues achieved on basic activity of companies eliminating random incidents as the sale of shares or real properties. Last year over sixty companies from the first hundred registered the rise of the sales revenue. Including the hundred of the largest companies from the Pomeranian sold goods and services in value of over 57 billions PLN. The sales revenue was higher over 14 billions PLN than in 2004.

For the first time “Gryf Gospodarczy" Awards have been given in 2000. The idea of creating this prestigious award on the Pomeranian arose before the uprising of Economic Regional Council in The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pomeranian Province. The idea of “Gryf Gospodarczy" managed to realize only thanks to the uprising of the Regional Council. Over thirty economic organizations from region are forming it. Such a big forum of entrepreneurs permitted for creating the right plain so that practically all Pomeranian companies could compete for the award. An aim of “Gryf Gospodarczy" is a promotion of companies from our region and the local economy.
