"Time of Gdynia" for VECTRA


The award “Time of Gdynia" for the best last year investment in the city received Vectra cable television for the office-hotel complex in Orłowo.
The award of the Chairman of the City Council is being granted on 10th February every year. A chapter is choosing the winner by paying attention for example to the number of created places of employment and architectural advantages.
Among eight reported proposals the chapter only judged the office-hotel-rehabilitation complex built at Zwycięstwa Ave by Vectra cable television. Studio Architektoniczne Kwadrat designed the investment and the general contractor was Allcon S.A. from Gdynia. Vectra complex included two connected office-buildings and the building in which the therapeutic hotel is located (with 27 rooms and the restaurant) and centre of the rehabilitation and the biological regeneration. / Gazeta Wyborcza, 10.02.2006


Gems of architecture. Next gem in Orłowo.


In place where recently bushes and brushwood grew and - directly saying – was a great mess, a new building complex came into existence. These are VECTRA headquarter and a three-star Hotel Kuracyjny. The buildings have integrated themselves into existing buildings and with it’s lump don’t crush. They also don’t create the impression of the proverbial “blocks of flats" and are not demolishing current order of urban plan.
New office-hotel-rehabilitation complex in the balanced way is towering on so-called Orłowska Hill. It is situated between Przebendowskich and Popiela Streets. It is located along the Zwycięstwa Ave. so not it is only delighting the eye of local citizens but also many traveling with the one tri-city artery. GRUPA VECTRA is an investor of new work of architecture in our district.
The architectural object came into existence on the total surface area about 10 thousands m2 and consists of two two-storey connected buildings with semicircular link. It is possible to get through every storey by it what created functional whole. In this way arose one dense lump about the total surface area almost 5 thousands m2. Even that, the elevation of this complex from the side of Zwyciestwa Ave doesn’t make the uniform wall – it was “break down" by the interesting entrance to the link made from the openwork steel structure covered with colored glass roof.
Furthermore, big surfaces fitted with glass of this wall, moved back last storey and the way of roofing the whole over caused that elevation of entire complex in spite of relatively big cubage – like to Orłowo conditions – isn't monotonous and heavy. On the contrary – it is light and bright with many elements emphasizing the looks.
On the entire falling escarpment both in direction to Zwycięstwa Ave. and to Popiela Street flowers, bushes and ornamental trees were planted. After falling of the darkness the entire land is lighted and buildings highlight. It is exposing uncommon architecture and it is enriching the elevation.
Project of complex with close surroundings so-called small architecture was designed by architects from Studio Architektoniczne Kwadrat Sp. z o.o. The insides of buildings designed studio Kolor Plus. Allcon company known from many very successful realizations in the scope of designing and the general contracting of investments is a general contractor.
Buildings executed by this company received the prestigious awards on all-Poland competitions. This year Allcon company proposed the "VECTRA Office Building" to the annual competition of the Polish Society of Engineers and Construction Technicians “The construction of the Year 2005". According to analysts opinion. The Tri-city’s property market.


Probably never before the Tri-city’s housing market wasn't subjected this way to the detailed research how it has happened recently, in the participation with “Dziennik Bałtycki". Two companies: REAS Consulting and redNet have presented it’s reports about the condition and perspectives of the housing market. It took place at the meeting organized on past Friday by "Dziennik" for Tri-city’s housing community.
It is the market taking the third place after Warsaw and Krakow which is presently measured as potentially the most dynamically developing in the country.
A lot of presented theses redefined current opinions about the market: according to presented by REAS Consulting current assessment of the potential of Tri-city’s developers at present the first place is taken by Allcon Osiedla Sp. z o.o. company, the second place is reserved for Ekolan S.A. and on the podium there is also Hossa Investing Group overtaking INPRO company.
More and more large group amongst investing in real properties are at present people who are making it as an investment. Generally they are often young, active people making plans for the shared future or staying in the long-lasting relationship, planning children in the future.
They often choose the flat on account of the location in the vicinity of a current place of abode – on account of parents. Great percent of buyers are persons in age of 50 years, still professionally active but already acting with the thought about the retiring.

Redłowska Cascade increases in stages.


It will be one of the most significant investments in Gdynia in the last few years. Redłowska Cascade increases in stages. Now is starting the building site of the highest building in whole complex.
Project duration is not so far like for nowadays realties: first residents will move into this part of Cascade in almost a year, in IV quarter of 2006. An investor, Allcon Osiedla company not only got planning permission, but also already has started the building works.
It is the most attractive part of Cascade which marks out by its architecture. From the luxury apartments which are situated on south-east side on the last floor there will be open view on the sea.
The unique value of Redłowska Cascade location is its surroundings by the ring of high greenery. From some apartments there is a view on a beautiful panoramic of moraine hills of Pomeranian Landscape Park. A new building not only because of it size will be appeared over surrounding averages.
